Visual Description and Composition
This graphic and contemporary mixed-media artwork is titled "Kat Mandou est aux anges" (Kat Mandou is over the moon / in seventh heaven). It is characterized by a playful, geometric, and conceptual style reminiscent of an architectural blueprint or a technical diagram filled with symbols.
-
Main Subject: Set against a textured white background, the left side is dominated by a large, stylized cat figure featuring a round head and pointed ears. Its body incorporates geometric patterns, white hatch marks over dark sections, and minimalist line work.
-
Details and Symbolism: The composition is structured with dotted axis lines, mathematical formulas, geometric diagrams, small icons (fish, cups, shapes), and vintage collage elements (including a cherub/angel near the top and a small standing figure at the bottom). Blocks of solid black, grey, and subtle accents of bright blue provide dynamic contrast throughout the piece.
